Born and raised in McBride, Dawn returned to the Robson Valley after receiving a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.  She then worked at the McBride hospital for 32 years, eventually retiring and pursuing her other passions. Dawn now crafts wearable art with her heart in her hands—as she describes it, a product is "not just a piece of jewelry, but a 'peace' of jewelry."
