Whistlestop Gallery
Artists and artisans of the Robson Valley
The Whistle Stop Gallery would like to acknowledge that we are honored to work, explore, and create on the unceded lands of the Lheidli T’Enneh and Simpcw First Nations. It is our responsibility to acknowledge the Indigenous land we reside on and provide an inclusive safe space that does not tolerate discrimination in any form. It is our mission to honor diversity and freedom of expression.

Ron Simanton
Woodworker
Ron Simanton moved from Alberta to the Robson Valley in the early 2000s. He has lived all throughout Western Canada, and after retiring from carpet laying, he discovered pen-making. As he had always been interested in woodwork, he found it a joy to experiment with different materials and designs. After over a decade of crafting practical, high-quality creations, Ron says it is the simple joy of working on his pens and seeing how they are used and enjoyed that keeps him going.
