Trevor Jones
Beloved teacher & painter
(1946-2018)

Trevor was born in Essex, England in 1946.
He studied Art at Colchester School of Art from1965 to 1967, Sheffield College of Art & Design from1967to 1970, and Goldsmiths' College, University of London from 1970 to 1971. He taught in England at Faringdon School, Oxfordshire, until May 1980. Sometime in the 1970's, he spent two summers working in New York and travelling around the United States. He also travelled around Norway, Scotland, and the Canadian Rockies.
Trevor would eventually relocate to the Robson Valley in 1981, settling in McBride. He taught part time at McBride Secondary School until 2004, when he would officially retire from teaching and pursue art fulltime.
Inspired by his travels, Trevor specialized in photo-realistic landscape paintings with abstract elements and studied in several prestigious art schools. His work has been featured at several art exhibitions throughout BC.
Trevor passed away in 2018, we will miss him greatly.
